Benton Furniture Share (BFS) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency serving Benton, Linn and surrounding Counties that collects and redistributes donated furniture and household items at no cost to children, families and individuals in need. Your donations of gently re-usable furniture and household items are redistributed to individuals and families within our multi-county service area.

We value recycling and volunteerism to get the job done, transparency in all financial aspects of the organization, preserving the dignity of clients, and providing services in a timely and cost effective manner that honors the donors who keep our doors open.
 

Mission
Benton Furniture Share (BFS) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization in operation since 1998 that diverts furniture from the landfill and redistributes quality used furniture, at no cost to individuals and families in need to improve family interactions, increase comfort and safety in homes, the ability to sleep comfortably, eat meals together, and study comfortably to increase wellness, independence, physical and mental health.

Why We Do This
The service addresses a long-standing need in the community by providing a mutual solution that keeps too much good, usable furniture from going into the landfill that could be in the homes of those without basic furniture amenities.
